ARC Group has an immediate need for a Full-Stack Java Developer, located in Birmingham, AL. This position will start out working remotely for at least the first few months then will move onsite at that time.
This is a contract to hire role so you must be a US Citizen or Resident (no visas, no employers)

Full-Stack Java Developer details
The Full-Stack Developer is responsible for the development and technical support for application software and executing unit test cases for the applications. This position requires a high level of knowledge and prior experience with web application development. You will be utilizing your experience in full-stack development and strong knowledge of Object-oriented programming (OOP) and Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC).
Some of the key things we are looking for:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Science or a related STEM program
3 to 5 years of experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
Must have experience with a variety of tools and frameworks such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, Spring Jenkins, SVN / GIT
Proven experience with JavaScript, SQL, and AngularJS/ Angular is preferred, VB Script is a plus
Proven experience with JSON/XML, REST Web Services
Experience with SQL is helpful
Experience working in the insurance industry would be helpful and at the least must be able to develop the industry knowledge
Communicates well with working teams. Motivated and willing to take initiative. Capable of working well in a team and collaborative environment.
Adaptable to change
Willing to mentor and coach others as assigned.
