Java developer, back-end orientated with specific experience with at least Java 8, Spring Boot, AWS and experienced within a TDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment environment.
So, this project is challenging. You'll be joining at the beginning of a project to break down a large part of their application to be event-driven as well as building new booking features for their continued international expansion.
The projects technical stack will be Java 10, Spring Boot, AWS (likely including Lambda, maybe Node.js), Docker Kubertenes, oAuth 2, Terraform/CloudFormation and a chosen IAM solution. You will work as a Senior Java Developer with real input into the end solution alongside a Java Tech Lead, Front End, DevOps and Automated QA Engineers for the duration of the project.
If you are a Java Developer with a passion for engineering complex distributed cloud systems and modern automated engineering practices you will love this position.
Key skills:
* Competent in using at least Java 8/9+ to build APIs and microservices without supervision
* Strong understanding of testing and CI/CD including Jenkins
* Experience working in SOA/microservices
* Experience with Docker
* AWS/Azure/GCP
