Job Description
Role: IT Architect (Java) Fully remote Multi-year contract, LONG-TERM
Our client is looking for someone with strong Java skills, SOAP and API development skills (not implementation, must know development). Not looking for someone with Middleware experience, its more of a coding role.
Contractor will support IT and the enterprise by providing comprehensive architectural leadership in translating business vision and strategies into effective IT and business capabilities through the design, implementation, and integration of IT systems.
Required Skills: - 5+ years of JAVA, J2EE, and Web Services programming - Hands-on experience in designing and developing high volume web services using API Protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP and XML)
Desired Skills: - Experience with development in FIS Xpress and DataPower - Experience with IBM API Connect
