Java Architect - JBoss - Micro-services - Devops
Must be able to obtain SC Clearance

£600 - £650 p/day
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
JBoss Application Server - Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements. Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.
Ground-up complex Technical Architecture and holistic design of IT solutions - deep Public Sector functional knowledge. Strong delivery skills having had experience managing development and architecture teams in excess of 25 resources. Worked on some of the largest scale systems in the UK. Knowledge of the latest technology trends like DevOps, Virtualisation/Cloud, Microservices, Single-Page JS Apps, Test Automation (Selenium/Gatling) and AI ('Robots'). Full life cycle experience from initial feasibility/solution shaping (including full estimation) through performance and operational testing to go-live and run/support. Java application architecture and appreciation of Spring Boot would be helpful as would strong integration experience including messaging. Able to obtain SC clearance.
I need a Strong Technical Architect in Java who can also manage teams to be remote then in Newcastle for 6 month initial contract.
