Java Architect (REMOTE)

Title: Java Architect

Location: REMOTE

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

Resource Ideally Profile:

· Leader, Season developer

· Architecture—good with coding, familiar with Maven & building, program languages—Java

· Jenkins set up—worked a similar project before able to provide suggestions.

· Ideal- microservices, building applications, AWS tools, solutions provider.

· Hands on able to make things happen.

· Open shift environment experience

· Deep knowledge of Spring boot

Technical Skills:

• Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Apache Camel and/or RedHat Fuse, OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, JUni, Tomcat, Docker, Bash, Git/Bitbucket, Maven & OAuth2

Requirements:

· Designing, implementing REST based microservices using Spring Boot, OpenShift 3.x/4.x or Kubernetes

· Ability to execute path-based routing, role-based access to different APIs and methods.

· Strong analytical skills for solving complex technical problems and business challenges.

· Experience spanning the inception of an architecture plan to the launch of the technical solution.

· Familiar with multi-layered enterprise applications

· Familiar with CI/CD tool like Jenkins

· Familiar with API management product like 3scale/Amazon API Gateway/Apigee (desired, not required per se)

• Familiar with SOAP based web services (desired, not required per se)

Preferred Certification:

· Red Hat Certified for Cloud Native Development

Contract length: 6 months

Part-time hours: 40 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, JUni, Tomcat, Docker: 1 year (Required)
• Bash, Git/Bitbucket, Maven & OAuth2: 1 year (Required)
• Software Development: 10 years (Required)
• Spring Boot, Apache Camel and/or RedHat Fuse: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Red Hat Certified for Cloud Native Development (Preferred)
