B.E.A.T. LLC is seeking a Java Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS) team. DOEHRS is a web-based application that supports the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of occupational and environmental factors arising in or from the workplace that may result in injury, illness, impairment, or affect the well-being of workers and members of the DoD community. DOEHRS is a mission critical application directly supporting the wellbeing of military and civilian workers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Designs, implements and supports API based architecture based on Spring Boot. Implement mock services, define interface contract elements. Implement business rules in service layer of API. Defines user interfaces and functional specifications. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, and maintaining and supporting the data warehouse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with DOEHRS. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
