Spark/Scala Developer (Remote)

5 years of hands on Hadoop, Spark Scala programming, Sqoop, Hive Development experience.
Good knowledge and experience of SQL (Strong in SQL & Pl/SQL)

Skills Good to have skill set -

• Experience with Clinical data
• Agile and Lean SDLC process
• Experience in ETL
• Experience with UNIX/Linux shell script development
• Experience on Trifacta: Data Wrangling Tool
• Experience in BI tools (Tableau or Spotfire or OBIEE)
• Experience with Python, R Language, Java  Experience with Clinical data 
• Agile and Lean SDLC process

Key Responsibilities -

• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance code based on need
• Create the rules for data mapping, transformation and enrichment to meet the requirements. 
• Perform informal testing of the rules and unit test
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Participate in peer review of deliverables such as code, designs, and test plans.
• Create technical/functional documentation as needed

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 5 years of Spark-Scala development experience
