IT Cloud Engineer – Azure/Dynamics AX/DevOps/SCCM

Initial 3 Month contract – Remote working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Cloud Engineer to join of omy clients based in Birmingham on an initial 3 month contract. As the Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for shaping the design, as well as developing and operating the infrastructure and applications focused on public and private Cloud technologies.

Role responsibilities:

• Looking at new emerging cloud technologies and service providers and assessing whether they will be of benefit to the Wesleyan and progressing adoption where relevant.
• Define standards and best practices around cloud technologies and how they should be adopted by internal and external Wesleyan teams.
• Assist in the design and then build and support of the infrastructure for Wesleyan’s applications and systems.
• Support continuous integration and continuous development tooling for technical teams to be able to build and deploy using pipelines.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a Cloud and Systems Engineer with a core responsibility for cloud services.
• Microsoft Windows server, system support experience and a strong background in systems administration.
• In depth knowledge and experience with enterprise scale Windows technologies such as but not limited to Server platforms, Desktop platforms, Exchange Environments, Active Directory, Virtualization and Collaboration tools.
• Working knowledge of agile or dev-ops.
• Microsoft cloud certifications.
