ISAM/ISIM Developer (Health Services) (Remote)

The desired candidate will architect and implement enhancements to THT, HHSC Enterprise Identity and Access Management security infrastructure which uses the following products: IBM Security Identity Manager, IBM Security Access Manager, IBM Directory Integrator, and IBM Privileged Identity Manager. The selected candidate must be self-directed, should possess strong communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively with IT management as well as business area experts, and should have experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

DUTIES:

• Design, create and maintain users, roles, security settings, profiles, workflows, workflow rules, and assignment rules.

• Develop an architectural approach to meet key business objectives.

• Execute unit tests.

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and perform the build activities to deliver a solution from the design stage to a functional application.

• Utilize analysis and diagramming tools to represent business processes.

• Coach and mentor peers and emerging members of the team and participate in code reviews to ensure development quality.

• Java certification preferred

• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Years):

Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will not be considered for this opportunity and the resume will not be submitted to the customer.

10 years: Information Technology experience

10 years: IBM Security Identity Manager, IBM Directory Integrator, IBM Security Access Manager, Tivoli

8 years: SQL, DB2, Web Services, LDAP, XML, Active Directory.

8 years: J2EE technologies including JavaScript, Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts

4 years: Service Oriented Architecture/Web Services Security

3 years: Portlets including JSR286 portlets and WebSphere portlets

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Years):

2 years: Knowledge of Health and Human Services programs (State of Texas)

1 year: Relevant Java Certification

This is a Contract-Based, Public-Sector IT Consulting position in Austin, TX. Due to the current pandemic, the job may require remote work initially.
