They now have an opening for a contractor to support one of their onsite teams at one of the world’s best-known investment banks.
This person will need to collaborate with other IT teams throughout the Bank, providing a detailed knowledge of the Bank’s integration service offerings and technologies. They will need to "wear multiple hats" as the role involves the development of new feeds, tooling, assessment and implementation of new integration platform technologies, troubleshooting issues and doing QA reviews of changes made by integration developers.
The Bank’s strategic Enterprise Application Integration platform is currently based on server-side technologies including Java Enterprise Edition, Spring, IBM MQ and a Managed File Transfer product. The role requires demonstrable knowledge relevant to these technologies. It will also involve regular participation on the out of hours support rota. This is envisaged to be a maximum of one week in three. There are not normally more than one or two callouts per week.
