My client in the Retail industry are looking for 3 Infrastructure Engineer's to join their highly respected organisation and work as part of a team to assure and deliver AIX & Linux technologies for a range of projects and BAU operations.

Key Skills

• IBM POWER7 and IBM POWER8
• PowerVM, HMC, NIM, VIO
• IBM AIX 6.1 to current
• SUSE 9,10,11 and RedHat 6 & 7
• VMware Virtualisation Products, including VCentre, vRealize Automation
• Knowledge of supporting and installation of Linux on VMware environments
• Using and maintaining YUM repositories
• SAN environments - Understanding (IBM, EMC, PURE and using multipath drivers)
• Scripting (e.g. bash, ksh)
• Working knowledge of TSM, Avamar or similar technologies for backup and recovery is preferred
• ITIL Qualification
• Experience supporting infrastructure hosting enterprise java applications and databases (DB2 & Oracle)
• Experience of supporting the following applications: IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Commerce Server, Apache Web Server

The successful candidate will lead complex solution delivery for IT projects, working with in-house development teams and/or third parties to design, develop and implement infrastructure solutions.
