Infrastructure Engineer (Linux Networking NetApp EqualLogic Pure ELK Splunk). Opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Infrastructure Engineer to take on a technically challenging contract based role for a hugely successful FinTech.
As an Infrastructure Engineer you'll be responsible for the maintenance and support of critical hosting architecture including servers, storage, VMware and Linux operating systems. A bulk of work has been passed over from the Cyber Security team which is Linux based and therefore someone with this experience is essential.
This role can be fully remote, however you'll need to be commutable to the London office for meetings once per month. The company have data centres in Hounslow and Slough and therefore you'll need to be commutable to work from there every 3 - 4 weeks.
Requirements: *Strong Infrastructure Engineer skills with experience of Enterprise Linux, Windows and Virtualisation *Experience with storage technologies such as NetApp, EqualLogic, Pure, iSCSI and NFS *Experience working within a Trading / Financial environment fast paced environment *Solid understanding of TCP/IP *Excellent communication and collaboration skills
