Our client, a well-known retail banking organisation, require the services of an Infrastructure Designer for an initial 6 month contract based out of their Glasgow offices.

This role will join and existing Infrastructure Design team and is responsible for the delivery of Infrastructure designs, standards & design patterns across a number of the clients current initiatives. The successful candidate will be required to Create & develop high level and detailed infrastructure designs, assess infrastructure costs, create roadmaps, reusable design patterns & standards, hardware & software Standard Operating Environments as well as develop operational and use case models for new technologies.

In order to be successful in this exciting new opportunity, you MUST be able to demonstrate the following skills in your application:

Relevant experience with the following technologies:
  • Virtualisation; VMWare, ESXi, CITRIX XenDesktop
  • RedHat Linux
  • SQL, Oracle Databases
  • Desktop; Windows
  • Clustering; Veritas
  • Cloud; Office 365, Azure, AWS
  • Firewalls
