Infrastructure Architect/Engineer (Citrix) | Southport | 2-3 month Contract | £500-550 per day

Our Southport based client are requiring the services of an Infrastructure Architect/Engineer who is an 'expert' with Citrix with immediate effect.
Your new role
Your main responsibilities (general) include:
- Undertake a review of the current Network Architecture with recommendations for optimisation. Work with the Head of infrastructure and Director of Systems to carry out any agreed changes to the Network design.
- Propose to the Head of Infrastructure opportunities to improve the Network performance and reliability,
- Participate in Infrastructure Project Management and Change Management in line with department procedures,
- Participate in the scoping and design of new procedures, services and facilities and reconfiguration of existing services,
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure and Service Design Package documentation for the team,
- Liaise with external suppliers where required to coordinate resolution of technical faults and facilitate new services or new usage scenarios,
- Communicate responses to requests, faults and new initiatives to peer group and Managers of the company,
- Monitor and report on all scheduled backups to the Head of Infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of infrastructure design and maintenance: Citrix, VMWare management, XENapp management, CITRIX Netscaler, Exchange Management (incl. DAG), power management, Datacentre connectivity, VEEAM Cloudconnect, Network Architecture, VOIP telephony and Windows Server environment.
