Help desk Engineer (1st Line Support), Contact role, Bristol based, training and development opportunities

A well known public sector organisation based in Bristol city centre are looking to hire a Help desk engineer on contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has had experience in a Help desk or Service desk environment who is looking for experience to use and develop their skills.
Your new role
As the new Help Desk Engineer you will work on the IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical help to a wide variety of customers, taking ownership of the issues up to the point of resolution or escalation. You will be working to SLA's and KPI's to ensure the best customer service.
You will be providing support via phone, email, remote control etc. You will also get the chance to join in on exciting projects such as
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience supporting Windows based operating Systems (7 and 10) and Office 365. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience in a public sector environment will be beneficial.
There will be scope to work on hands on projects with modern systems including Office 365, Skype and Windows 10 deployment using SCCM.
