Graphic Designer - Web and Marketing - REMOTE

Job Summary

Tree Ring Digital seeks a proficient Graphic Designer to contribute to our growing, talented team. They are responsible to design and create brochures, business cards, website images, digital banner ads, and other digital and printed materials to promote various clients and their industries. Graphic Designers are responsible for assist our content and website design teams in development of engaging ads, print materials, and digital materials that can be used in marketing or advertising campaigns.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Understand the client’s business, vision, and services/products
• Understand current design trends
• Producing engaging materials to captivate the target audience
• Understand Google AdWords' standards and requirements for display ads
• Proficient at preparing artwork for both web and print
• A strong eye for visual composition

Job Requirements, Skills, Abilities, Education, Certifications:

• BA Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Experience designing for websites
• Experience creating digital and print ads
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while working remotely
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work schedules
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design

Job Duties:

• Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
• Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
• Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
• Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
