Graphic Designer (Contract)

ROAR for Good is currently seeking a contract remote Graphic Designer. This position contributes to ROAR for Good’s success by creating engaging on-brand collateral to support marketing and sales.
In this role, you would be responsible for leading successful creation and implementation of all designs for our website, packaging, documentation, social media, marketing materials, booth exhibits, print collaterals, digital ads, and more.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the ability to visually communicate the benefits of our Company and product creatively and effectively to all key stakeholders.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral by working within the set brand standards
Translate & deliver design requests from various business departments
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Provide creative direction based on requirements, prepare rough drafts, and iterate based on feedback
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications, timeline and budget restrictions
Ability to handle large organizational tasks and projects such as:
Keep up to date with industry trends
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or related field is required.
1-3 years’ experience
In-depth knowledge of
Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Figma/Sketch (for UI)
Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro (video editing) is an asset
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and digital
Excellent eye for detail, aesthetic design, clean design and customer appeal
Must be artistic and innovative while having a positive attitude and eager to share ideas for improvement
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work from home in a conducive work environment
Nice to have – Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and video editing experience
Please note hourly rate compensation is based on experience.
