Graphic Designer (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of the Strategic Data Science team, this designer will work on a wide range of projects that support the branding and marketing team. This role will support both new and existing business and must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment. We are looking for a highly creative problem solver who is able to execute goals quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create graphic design solutions for both print and digital projects in a timely manner

Collaborate with marketing managers and web developers to completion of projects

Gain a solid understanding of the marketing strategy and dynamics of assigned solutions within the company

Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by the Director of Marketing

Assist in making presentations for account managers & business development team

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Help facilitate creative meetings and contribute to company culture

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with little to no supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate or bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of design experience in an agency or in-house graphics department setting.

If no degree is possessed, then 3+ years of related experience in an agency or in-house graphics department setting is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects, Social Media Marketing

Experience with the print production process, including file preparation

Understanding of graphic design and web technologies

Mastered composition techniques (multiple elements and interactive pieces) in producing polished final pieces

Comprehensive computer photo-retouching and image development skills

Complete understanding of:

Color theory and color relationships

Typographic specifications (points, leading, kerning, tracking, etc.)

Perspective and space relationships, as well as composition and grid structures

Photography and the photographic process

Job Duties:

• Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
• Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
• Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
• Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
• Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
