A truly exciting opportunity has just opened up for a highly experienced contract golang developer to join a rapidly growing team in London. You will interview and start the role remotely but will have the requirement into London after the lock down restrictions are lifted. We have created a brand new digital hub that focuses on the use of innovation and technology to genuinely solve the problems of our clients. Our latest project will involve working with a well known fintech client on providing real commercial value and transformation their current business model. The succussful contract golang developer will work on some of the most exciting technology across cloud computing (GCP) and distributed systems.
The ideal golang developer will have significant commercial experience using golang but will also have experience in using Google Cloud Platform for cloud deployment with experience in modern processes such as DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and micoservices etc. You will be playing the role of a lead golang developer where you will not only be responsible for building our high performing web applications but also for training and mentoring more junior staff members as well.
You will have the following commercial technical proficiency as an experienced golang developer:
- Significant commercial experience in using golang to develop high distributed systems
- Previous software engineering expeience across other technology like Python, Java & Node
- Some commercial experience in the use of google cloud platform (GCP) for cloud deployment
- Exposure to modern software engineer processes like DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and microservices
