Role – GIS Developer Duration – 12+ months contract Location – Austin, TX Highly preferred Locals Candidates need to be able to pick up equipment on the first day in Austin, and then they can work remotely from wherever until 1/1/2021 Candidate need to be able to relocate to Austin at the beginning of the year
GIS Developer who is experienced working with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing, executing, managing and maintaining an enterprise-wide GIS implementation for our public sector client. As part of our Public Sector division you will collaborate with a large project team while individually contributing to project deliverables that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work closely with our functional and technical staff to deliver enterprise-level GIS solutions for our public sector client. · Supports the engineering, operation and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Geographic Information System (GIS) including maintenance, updates, new functionality and everything in between in our public sector clients' codebase · Focused front-end application development using the Esri Javascript API and Web Application Builder framework including developing, prototyping and building web applications · ArcGIS Server Support and ArcGIS Server Services updates and Tier 1 infrastructure support including end user support/calls, Client ticket support/resolution, Coordination of GIS Data Warehouse updates, releases and maintenance · Assists with back-end GIS development as needed · Writing scripts for GIS data fixes and schema changes in ArcPy, SQL, and JSON for ArcGIS Server Edits · QA for GIS Data fixes Required Experience Candidates experience Overall rating out of 10 • 3+ years' experience using Esri ArcGIS software with an emphasis in ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server)• 3+ years' experience with ESRI Javascript API,• 1+ years' experience with Angular, CSS/HTML, ArcPy• Experience working in an Agile team including sprints, user story creation, requirement gathering/refinement• Production deployment and support in large Enterprise systems• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field Preferred Experience Candidates Experience Overall rating out of 10 • 5+ years' experience with ESRI Javascript API, Angular, CSS/HTML, ArcPy• Public sector experience• Consulting industry experience
