GIS Developer (GOV-UK projects)

Skills and Experience:
* Core skills with GIS, GeoServer, Postgres PostGIS, Openlayers, ArcGIS, etc.
* Experience of AWS hosting environments
* C#/.NET and/or open-source languages
Current systems are being developed primarily in C#/.NET on AWS under an Agile development process, to deliver cloud agnostic solutions. Emphasis is also given to GIS developments and open-source technologies to enable the project to support new and existing systems as well as move into new areas.
The Opportunity:
Using data visualisation technologies to assist with the development of future platforms and systems for a number of government-led projects. You’ll be joining an existing project team that provide a great environment for you to succeed in; they have consistently hit their milestones and have been rewarded with the quality of work delivered.
*Security Clearance – this role requires candidates with current/recent BPSS clearance and/or the ability to pass basic security checks*
