Full Stack Web Developer (Remote, Inside IR35)

A government organisation has a requirement for experienced Full Stack Web Developers , on a contract-basis. You will work collaboratively with User Researchers, Developers and Data Scientists. Based in East Kilbride with the option to work remotely from home 2 days per week.

This role is initially a 2 month contract, inside iR35.

Role Responsibilities:

• Use wireframes to implement front end applications for inputting and analysing results information from international development projects
• Assist with the development of the backend services for creating, reading and updating results information
• Assist with the design of a robust infrastructure for securing and storing the results information
• Working collaboratively with other developers in the team and with other engaged technical parties within the organisation.

Skills/Experience required:

• Proven experience building full stack web applications and taking them to production
• Commercial experience in developing user interfaces from wireframe specifications.
• Experienced with building robust back end HTTP services using a modern toolset.
• Commercial experience with deploying to a cloud environment.
• Any experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React is highly beneficial.
• Must be confident working within an Agile environment
• BPSS and DBS security clearance is essential for this role.
