Job Description: MEDIA SUPPLY CHAIN SUPPORT SOFTWARE ENGINEER

  • Customer is looking for someone to provide technical support to run Media Applications.
  • Specific Job duties include:

    • Configuring & Monitoring media processing systems/applications
    • Develop and support Web and API based solutions
    • Work with development, project and operations teams and vendors to gather data for the potential issues
    • Work with Software Engineering in support of development work
    • Work with TECHOPS and Release Management in support of app deployments for the bug fixes/enhancements
    • Scripting and development work for cloud-native solutions
    • Debug reported issues thoroughly and resolve them

    Qualifications

    • Full-stack web application developer with experience in Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Node.JS
    • Writes clean, modular code and is experienced with OOP and design patterns
    • Strong knowledge of Linux, MAC OSX, and Windows
    • Strong knowledge of media and broadcast
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline
    • Familiarity with front-end libraries such as Vue, React and Angular
    • Good knowledge of Java, Groovy scripting, SQL RDB, NO-SQL, XSLT, XML
    • Basic knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6 and IP sub-netting
    • Basic understanding of virtual machine clusters and hardware

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Amazon Web Services/Google Cloud Platform.
    • Experience with Media Workflows and Content Supply Chain
