Full Stack Software Engineer (Remote)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of five or more years of demonstrated professional experience as a software engineer
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Product Build experience
  • Pattern design and experience with AWS cloud-based infrastructure
  • Embedded development/debugging experience
  • Experience on multi-core CPU or SMPO
  • Knowledge and professional experience in multiple languages, including Java, C, C++
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code
  • Expertise in Javascript, ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery
  • Experience building the front-end of applications with ES2015+, NodeJS, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience in front-end tools and workflows
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools
  • Experience with Grunt or Gulp for automation
  • Experience in responsive web design
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong technical orientation
  • Quick thinker, ability to learn fast
  • Enthusiastic, engaging personality with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work on site, in person, in Columbus, OH

Job Description:

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer who will work for us at our client in a potentially long-term, contract-to-hire position. It is an on-site position in Columbus, OH. The client has a dynamic, innovative, and very energetic work environment and culture. You will be an enthusiastic member of the team, working alongside other talented engineers. You will:

  • Design, develop, unit-test, and maintain embedded networking software
  • Work closely with the QA team in developing test plans
  • Liaise with product marketing and customer success teams
  • Work across teams to provide technical guidance and support the entire development process of the product
  • Demonstrate your experience as an engineer (versus being a developer) in applying scientific and mathematical knowledge, eliciting and analyzing requirements, working with stakeholders, and designing a holistic solution.
