GeoLogics is working with a hiring manager at Raytheon Technologies and has an opening for a Full-Stack Java Developer . This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States. You must be a United States Citizen to apply. This is a long-term contract position .
Hourly rate: OPEN (w2 non-benefited or c2c but you must have your own company)
The purpose of this role is to provide technical development across multiple applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with the user community to understand and gather requirements, creating high quality, scalable, and extendable solutions, designing and documenting application architectures, designing and developing application features and enhancements, triaging and resolving application issues, maintaining test repositories, and deploying and supporting application changes throughout the application lifecycle .
Duties:
Scope and estimate solutions for internal customers
Interpret requirements into software architecture and design
Design and document application architectures
Design, develop and code software to meet the requirements of components or systems
Code, test, and implement code solutions for internal customers
Integrate applications ensuring they operate efficiently according to specification
Perform integration, test, and documentation duties to ensure proper application operation
Adhere to accepted standards, best practices, and processes for application development
Proper and effective escalation and communication of project challenges and risks
Must have advanced level experience with the following:
oFull-stack Java experience JavaScript, Java, Spring, and WildFly or JBoss
oExperience withJavaScript libraries Angular and Knockout
oExperience with stored procedures inOracle and SQL Server
oTechnical expertise withTomcat and RESTful webservices
oExperience inscrum agileapplication development methodologies processes
Problem-solving skills and proven record of working well in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Strongunderstandingof application management and release methodologies
Ability to clearly document and diagram technical systems
Experience working with a diverse remote workforce
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams with a single purpose
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
Weekly core standard business hours; occasional nights and weekend work is required
