Looking for Full Stack Java developer
Location : Agoura Hill, CA
Duration 6+ months

8+ years experience as Full Stack Java developer

Visa- Independent

Initially Remote Work due to pandemic situation, later candidate must be willing to relocate to below location .

Technical

• Core Full Stack Java development
• Spring and Hibernate
• Web Services
• Front-end dev experience with Kendo UI
• Experience with PostGreSQL
• MS SQL Server skills including Stored Procedures and SSIS
• AWS, some experience in application architecture, data and system analysis

General

• Great communication skills
• Helping and managing work with junior developers, including offshore
• Willingness to wear multiple hats

Responsibilities:

• Create complex, high quality, enterprise-transforming business applications
• Use the latest tools and techniques ( Ruby/Rails, RSpec/NUnit, .NET, C#, Agile Methodologies, Web Services)
• Use BDD/TDD techniques during development
• Prepare software for deployment to production environments
• Respond to and resolve questions and issues logged by users of a live system
• Manage small projects independently and work as a team member on larger projects
• Be part of diverse, high energy teams focused on full life-cycle development
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behavior's which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to conceptualize solutions
• Experience with object oriented analysis and design
• Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum is helpful
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with Linux and open source software
• Financial services experience, especially related to mortgages and mortgage backed securities, is desirable
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
