Full Stack Java Developer

Monarch are working with a global financial organisation based in Canary Wharf are recruiting for an experienced full stack Java Developer to assist them on an initial 6 month contract.

You will be working in a team that plays a vital part in delivering the groups IT strategy and impacts the entire organisation. The team supports the groups GDPR solution which is fundamental to being able to provide regulators with timely and accurate reports.

Some of the key responsibilities within this role include:

• Designing, developing and configuring of Java-based applications (web, mobile and desktop applications)
• Translate application story boards and use cases into functional applications
• Delivering high quality solutions through innovative design aligned with good development practices
• Ensuring software delivery, as agreed with the Development Manager/Project Manager accounting for high quality software, compliant with team and Group standards

The essential skills and experience required:

• Angular JS - at least 2 years proven experience
• Java / JavaScript- at least 5 years proven experience
• SQL - at least 5 years proven experience
