Full Stack Engineer (Contract)
Working for a leading international Fintech, these Full Stack Engineer roles offer the opportunity to break new grounds, solve new challenges and make key decisions impacting a large engineering organisation. Our client offers the autonomy and pace of a startup, whilst the security of a mature business and platform.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and architect new features
- Code for both backend and frontend
- Design and create both unit and integration tests
- Analyse the performance of your code in production and re-architect for bottlenecks, using automated monitoring tools where appropriate
- Execute in Agile development, in focused squads, using Agile methodologies and continuous improvement
- Maintain your code as necessary with bug fixes and patches
- Drive improvement across the business, collaborating where appropriate to continuously improve the products and services we offer
- Help drive technical projects cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams as well as influence, design, and implement new user-facing features in products
- Participate in code and technical design reviews
MITs
- Proficient in Typescript
- Proficient in Javascript
- Exposure to GraphQL
- Exposure to Scala, if not very strong Java
- Previous Fintech experience would be beneficial, if not having worked at Google, Amazon, or Facebook-type organisation (a leading tech firm) is ideal
These are fully remote contract roles, up to 6 months offered initially - very competitive day rates (up to £450-£650)
