Full Stack Engineer - PHP - Remote Contract
New Iron is helping a client hire a Full Stack Engineer to work on existing and green-field projects.
This is a remote contract position till the end of 2020.
The primary focus of this position is on backend development in PHP, but priority will be given to candidates with experience in frontend JavaScript technologies.
We are looking for candidates that are hands-on capable of designing and developing SaaS applications.

Required Skills Include:
5+ years experience software development
Demonstrable, practical experience using TDD and unit testing
The ability to design using Object Oriented design patterns
Demonstrable expertise with Object Oriented PHP
Experience with MySQL
Experience with AWS
Experience building ReST web services in PHP
Agile; practical experience with unit testing and Continuous Integration
Nice to have:
Experience with Laravel Framework
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
Experience with Vue.js
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field
