Description & Responsibilities:

Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
- Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
- Address and improve any technical issues
- Collaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant, and efficient systems
- Demonstrated past experience in building apps and services quickly in a rapidly changing fast-paced environment, team player and excellent communicator flexible with working with a global team on long term engagement
Requirements & Qualifications:

Previous working experience as a MERN Stack Developer for 3+ years
- Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and testing mobile & web apps using NodeJS, ReactJS/ReactNative, MongoDB, API integrations, MERN stack, API development
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum, Scrum ceremonies, GitHub, Postman, and unit testing
- Financial services domain experience with strong experience integrating external payments, banking partners
- Strong experience in building on AWS including CI/CD, leveraging cloud services BSc degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
- Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns, minimum one-year experience with MERN Fullstack paradigm
- Knowledge of the following will be considered as an advantage:
- Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web applications
- Experience with cloud technologies also a plus
- Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, Javascript, JQuery
- Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control Git.
The Ideal Candidate

3-5+ years experience with MongoDB, Express React, Node.js, AWS
- Strong and robust experience in banking/fintech industries
- Has great back-end experience, and is someone who can compliment. thein-house front-end developer
- Very strong communication skills
- Team player and will be a great fit for the team culture
- Will show intellectual curiosity, and constantly want to learn and progress with the team
- Has financial services experience
- Self-starter, and is ok working independently and handling problems by themselves
- The team needs someone that will own the process and run with it
