Overview:
We are searching for an agile, highly motivated, and excellent team player to support the development of cloud-based (AWS) security tools to support IAM functionality. The candidate needs to have good AWS services knowledge and extensive experience in working with Java based web applications. This position requires 80% back-end work, and 20% UI development using AngularJS.
Responsibilities:
Fluent design thinking to achieve efficient and scalable solution. Identify manual processes and build automated scripts and/or process flows. Quickly learn existing application and its infrastructure and provide support to the migration team. Participate in scrum and task planning/tracking. Create repeatable performance test cases, execute, and document them. Develop design document and present to the internal team(s). Strong experience in securing AWS cloud resources. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Tools experience include Eclipse, Git / BitBucket, splunk, and JIRA. Experience in using UNIX and Windows operating system. Develop, test, and implement bug fixes. Experience in using Ant build scripts and enhance as needed. Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field 4+ years of hands on experience with Java/J2EE programming. AWS services: Lambdas Ec2 S3 Cloud formation RDS Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills. JDBC and excellent SQL experience. Experience in writing, consuming, and securing APIs using Java. Angular development using version 6 and above
