Full Stack Developer (Remote)

POSITION: Intermediate Level Full Stack Developer

LOCATION: The company is based in The Woodlands (i.e. Houston), Texas area, but working remotely from home/office is okay, if the home/office resides in the USA. Occasional travel will be required.

COMPANY: SaaS, DaaS and CDDS startup company focused on Healthcare clinical support services. We’ve just closed our Series A.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: A disciplined self-starter that can work on projects without micromanagement. You must be able to get the overall picture of a project’s goal and be able to identify issues that may come up and be able to handle them with minimal guidance. This position is close to 60% programming and 40% brain storming. Must be adapted to learning new concepts.

The majority of the work with involve client side and API integration, but some server side and database work will occasionally be involved.

MANAGEMENT STYLE: Position reports to the CTO. He is goal driver and focused on efficiency. Very open minded to new ideas, but you will need to be prepared to defend them. More concerned with meeting deadlines than time management. Completely respects a healthy live/work balance.

Required Skills:

- BS in CS or relevant experience

- High level of experience of HTML 5, CSS, JS, and jQuery

- Experience with PHP, ASP, MySQL, and NodeJS

- An understanding or experience in HIPAA and HiTrust

- An understanding of Privacy by Design concepts

- Ability to create wireframes

- UX/UI design

Bonus Skills:

- Experience with Kubernetes

- Experience with AWS

- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

- Adobe XD

- Experience with EHR integrations

- Appreciation of well written code as art

Experience:

- 4 Years of experience in web development (required)

- 1 year of experience working remotely
