NOTE: This will be a remote position initially due to COVID. But it will be a complete onsite work at the Charlotte, NC office once the situation is contained.
Job Description: Our client’s digital transformation organization is looking for a creative, self-driven, and talented Angular Developer to join their agile culture. Qualified developers will have an opportunity to work on an array of challenging problems through Angular-architected webpages empowered by microservice development, having a direct impact on the day-to-day day experiences of both our field workers, corporate personnel, and customers alike. Key Responsibilities: • Creates, maintains and enhances Angular applications as part of a durable product team. • Research, evaluate, and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency and usability. • Maintains records to document system and programming development and revisions. • Leverages CI/CD automation and best practices to deliver quality solutions to our end-users. • Applies iterative development to continuously deliver value through frequent deployments. • Mentors other application developers in Angular cloud-native development and participates in the Angular community of practice to build client’s Angular competency. • Ensures adherence to appropriate design, coding, and cybersecurity standards. • Leads design and code walk-thru as a presenter or reviewer.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Basic/Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, 8 years of related business experience. • Work experience in addition to a degree: 5-10 years as an IT Application Developer with an emphasis on front-end web development. • Must have strong experience in Angular development.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Angular 10. • Experience with Jasmine/Karma. • Familiarity with Bitbucket and Jira. • Full-stack development experience with exposure to Java Cloud-native APIs. • Exposure to code scanning tools such as SonarQube and CheckMarx. • Creating cloud-native applications in either AWS or Azure Public Cloud, or in client’s Digital Transformation organization’s on-prem cloud infrastructure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
