Front End Web Developer - WordPress
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop website layouts into static or CMS driven websites with platforms such as WordPress, Unbounce, Joomla, and Drupal experience a plus
- Design website layouts with industry-standard programs, e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.
- Update or add new features to client and internal projects
- Work with copywriters to ensure that content marketing or SEO goals are met on website projects
- Present design or development work to clients and act as a client resource for account managers
- Facilitate client WordPress training, site documentation, and website maintenance
Skill and Experience Requirements (Note: Must have all of the experience listed below):
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in web development and design with a focus on SEO & SEM (landing page design) experience
- Experience with the following tools in a production environment is preferred: HTML, CSS, Javascript (ES6), PHP, NodeJS, NPM, Yarn, ReactJS, GatsbyJS, GraphQL, Sass, Bootstrap, and Linux command line
- Strong knowledge of WordPress including custom theme and plugin development. Sage Theme and Visual Composer experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of User Experience (UX) design
