Front-end Developer – Remote working – 6 week contract - Quick start
We are looking for a Front-end Developer for a 6 week remote working contract position, very quick start available. for an on-line marketing company.
The Front-end Developer should have experience of integrating database driven applications.
Also at least one language like PHP, Python, Ruby, ASP.Net, Java (JSP) and knowledge of Intersystems cache, or similar DBMS.
As a Front-end Developer, your responsibilities will include:
Browser testing.
Any designing and implementation of new UI components.
Maintenance development and correcting any issues identified.
To recommend any improvements to the processes.
Communicate with Managers and provide an understanding of technical requirements.
To be considered for the Front-end Developer role you must have:
Experience of UI/UX design.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Previous experience of any of the following: Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, IntelliJ IDEA.
Be adaptable to new technologies and techniques.
Essential skills for the Front-end Developer:
HTML.
CSS.
Bootstrap.
JavaScript (jQuery).
Cross-browser and device compatibility.
Version Control (e.g. Git).
Be able to write quality, maintainable and performant code.
Have a keen eye for design detail.
Any experience of JIRA would be preferred.
