10 months Contract – 37.5 Hours – Full Time - With chance of extension for right candidate

4Recruitment Services are seeking a Front-End Developer in Hackney Council.

London Borough of Hackney is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join its Development team for a contract.

The hire will apply appropriate tools and programming in line with latest industry trends to develop front-end applications for high-profile Web projects.

It is essential that they have Agile experience and are able to articulate user stories into prototypes and Web pages.

Essential Skills:
4+ years’ experience as a frontend developer
Fundamentals including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CSS preprocessors such as Sass and LESS.
JavaScript frameworks - AngularJS, React
JS-based build tools - Grunt, Gulp, Bower
Libraries - jQuery or Backbone.js.
Front-end (CSS) frameworks eg Foundation or Bootstrap.
AJAX.
Front-end integration with APIs using JSON/JSON schemas.
Unit testing and test-driven development.
Familiarity with API Creation and RESTful services.
GitHub.

Experience of using Contentful would be a huge advantage.

Salary is £230 - 250 per day.
