Job Description
WorkUp Health is seeking a UX/UI Designer to help define and produce exciting digital solutions for our client using our platform. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for various parts of the UX lifecycle from start to finish including research, requirements, wireframing, design, prototyping, and testing. You will be working in a fast-paced and flexible delivery environment and your creativity, problem-solving skills, and aesthetic eye will help to drive our digital initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the UX Lead to help execute the product vision across the end-to-end product design process.
Conduct user research, create personas, map user flows, and document user requirements to effectively understand and represent the user perspective.
Create information architecture and user flow diagrams to establish a blueprint of a product’s infrastructure, features, and hierarchy.
Quickly and thoroughly create workflows, wireframes, design mockups and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives and features.
Produce intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UI designs for web and mobile applications.
Clearly communicate and explain your designs to teammates and clients, collect feedback, and iterate
Participate in client meetings to derive and effectively solve for business and user needs.
Work closely with Agile development teams to provide guidance and support as they implement UI design.
Conduct heuristic evaluations of existing products to identify opportunities for improvement and solve for them.
Research and present design best practices, patterns, and trends.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of UX design principles and experience applying these principles to client/consumer facing products.
Strong, proven skill in creating wireframes and other common UX design artifacts (IA diagrams, user flows, personas, etc.)
Comfortable designing across various platforms including responsive/adaptive web and native mobile applications (iOS/Android)
Ability and willingness to quickly produce multiple design concepts and user flows to present and further refine.
Ability to absorb existing software architectures and concepts and produce designs that adhere to them (familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts, pagination, request/response, and other Internet application concerns)
Ability to use and incorporate developer technologies to facilitate and inform designs (familiarity with items such as JSON, GraphQL, RESTful APIs)
Understanding of effective information architecture and how information can be visually and functionally transformed into an engaging and intuitive user experience
Ability to apply heuristics to objectively evaluate a product or experience for good usability, and provide feedback/recommendations for improvement
Attention to detail and precision in conceptualizing multi-path interaction systems.
Good understanding of visual design guidelines and best practices.
Excellent communication, positive attitude, and people skills in various settings.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
Self-motivated towards creatively solving problems and producing the best possible outcome
Ability to work directly and closely with project stakeholders, maintaining professional and effective client communications.
Strong competency in wireframing programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), Figma, Sketch, Axure,, and/or similar toolsets
Comfortable working in virtual environments using collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, etc.
2+ years of demonstrable experience in a UX/UI designer role
