POSITION SUMMARY Brick Bodies currently seeks a talented graphic designer to join their marketing team. Your contribution will directly impact Brick Bodies ability to achieve its vision of helping people change their lives for the better.
This position is a freelance design opportunity and would be performed remotely.
In-person meetings and club tours/ activities may be requested. Often, quick turnaround (24-48 hours) for projects may be required; responsive communication and project delivery is essential for success in this position.
Estimated workload is 50 hours per month with unused hours rolling over into the next month. Work over the 50-hour monthly contract will be compensated for at the mutually agreed upon rate.
Brick Bodies will provide assignments and communicate on open projects using the project management platform Monday.com. All files will be delivered through
Dropbox.

Design work includes, but is not limited to, leveraging brand standards to create adverting for digital media, direct mail and in club signage. Work may include graphics for website, signage, e-mail, landing pages and social media.
Additional mutually agreed upon assignments may include website/ WordPress updates or edits, and e-mail/ Hubspot creation. Brick Bodies will maintain an in- house team and outside vendors to support the both website and e-mails.
OWNERSHIP Photography, video and copy will be provided by Brick Bodies, and is the sole property of Brick Bodies.
An iStock account will also be available for licensed images. Should additional stock be requested by Brick Bodies, the Designer is responsible for sourcing public domain images or notifying Brick Bodies in advance of fess associated
with use prior to implementing selected stock. The Designer is not responsible for costs incurred using Brick Bodies approved stock photography, video or audio.
The Designer is responsible for providing all design files for all work produced to Brick Bodies. All work produced by for Brick Bodies under this scope of work is the sole property of Brick Bodies Fitness Services in perpetuity.
The Designer may use any approved materials produced for Brick Bodies
Fitness Services in her/ his portfolio.
NONCOMPETE The Designer may not produce creative for local fitness competitors to Brick
Bodies during the duration of this agreement without prior approval of Brick
Bodies.
PAYMENT This engagement is based on an hourly fee for creative services.
Each month is contracted at a minimum of 50 creative hours paid at $40 - $50 per hour. Additional hours must be approved in advance and will be paid at the same rate per hour. Unused hours will carry over month to month.
Brick Bodies Fitness Services does not reimburse for travel costs, equipment/ computer or software costs under this scope of work.

ABOUT Brick Bodies Fitness Services (Brick Bodies) is a chain of three health clubs located in the Baltimore, Maryland area. The three coed clubs are in The
Rotunda (Hampden), Reisterstown, and their flagship 60,000 square feet location is located in Timonium.
Founded by Baltimore natives Victor and Lynne Brick in 1985, the company is now run by their daughter, Vicki Brick, CEO, and a long-tenured Executive Team. Brick Bodies excels in providing a comfortable, community atmosphere in a way that is only possible with a locally owned, privately held company.
Unlike many other boutique and discount health clubs in the area, Brick Bodies’ operates customer service oriented, full-service fitness clubs, and has been awarded “Baltimore’s Best Gym/ Studio,” in Baltimore Magazine’s reader’s choice awards.
Brick Bodies amenities include a schedule of over 300 group exercise classes companywide per week. Brick Bodies’ personal training programing includes one-on-one training, small group and team/ circuit training. All Brick
Bodies locations include studio spaces within them including mind-body, cycling, group exercise and turf/ functional training. Additional premium features include saunas and towel service at all locations, swimming pools at two locations, boxing studios at two locations, and hydromassage chairs and childcare services at two locations.
During the COVID-19 business shutdown, Brick Bodies launched virtual
Personal Training and Group Exercise programs to engage and support their member base while the clubs were closed. Brick Bodies believes that a strong body and mind are key to building resiliency. Which is why, in addition to a robust schedule of paid offerings, Brick Bodies also offers free social media workouts on Facebook and Instagram to support the Baltimore community.
