We are actively seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer to support the Murphy Research team. This is a great opportunity to flex your design and communication muscles in an applied business setting while supporting the production of customized research deliverables and marketing/advertising materials for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies. Our research and brand elevation ranges across industries on diverse projects with clients like Gatorade, Disney, Snapchat, and Twitter.. About You:
You have a strong design portfolio, including examples of client-ready reports, creative data visualizations, social media marketing and website design assets
You have a diverse artistic range, with the ability to shift from one brand aesthetic to another fluidly.
You are confident while working with Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; You have strong typography, layout, and type/image integration skills
You have experience in social media marketing across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram; an understanding of digital marketing analytics and design requirements across social platforms a plus
Your written, verbal, and visual communication skills are points of strengthYou love teamwork, but you’re self-motivated and thrive when performing work on multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detailYou enjoy working consultatively, but also love jumping in to execute and deliver high quality, error-free work in a fast paced environment
Bonus Points if you have experience in motion graphics, video editing, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and/or familiarity with After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, or Maya
What You'll Be Doing:
You will act as a brand ambassador for Murphy Research and Trajectory (creative agency affiliate), ensuring our brand guidelines and creative storytelling shines through in all deliverables and communication materials
Collaborating with our Creative Director, you will assist in design and development of research presentation decks and proposals in accordance with brand guidelines and project timelines
You will support the creative conceptualization and implementation of our team’s social media blogs, and newsletters, and other marketing collateral
You will maintain proactive, ongoing communication with any stakeholders on a project-by-project basis.
You will serve as a creative resource amidst a team of analytical data-oriented researchers, while learning alongside an experienced creative team
