Experienced PHP/Wordpress Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a remote contractor with a very solid PHP/Wordpress background and experience working with agile teams. This person should also be strict when applying good OOP/TDD practices and value high-quality clean code.

Requirements

What specific abilities should the candidate have:

• Deliver readable and testable code while meeting and exceeding client expectations. We will be looking for a clean, well-structured code written in PHP, as well as automated tests.
  
• An advance English level is a must since we value strong communication skills and conduct all our work using this language.
• Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and assertive communication skills. Creative and pragmatic mind to develop innovative and unique solutions to complex problems.
• Work proactively with designers and other web developers to ensure the product requirements translate into scalable web pages.
• Strong proficiency in frontend Javascript development using the best practices in the industry. It would be great if you also have experience using TypeScript.
• Understanding of common UX / UI principles, e-commerce domain, and SEO.
• Availability to work full time during EST time zone work hours (at least 4 hours of overlap with the rest of the team).
