Experienced PHP Developer (Remote)

NOTE: This is primarily a remote position, but you should be able to travel to our Haverford, PA HQ for on-site meetings (if need be).

Job Summary

We are looking for a mid to senior level web developer who is proficient in PHP. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of PHP professional development experience working with frameworks such as Laravel and/or CodeIgniter.

This is a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt quickly to the environment and get the job done as quickly as possible. Since this is a data sensitive firm, this person must be able to pay close attention to detail.

Primary Duties

• Upgrade legacy PHP application to latest framework version (Laravel)

• Add new features to the PHP application
• Update standalone PHP scripts

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years experience with PHP
• 3+ years experience with SQL
• 3+ years front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS, etc)
• 1+ years with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter framework
• 1+ year experience using Git

Qualifications and Skills

• PHP 5.x+
• Laravel 3.x+
• MySQL 5.x+
• Independent/self-starter
