Job Duration : Long Term Contract

The principal solution Architect will play a key role in leading solution, technology and integration architecture design for a multi-year care coordination modernization project. The Principal Solution Architect will work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to understand and build a holistic view of the enterprise’s strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets, and then uses that context to define an enterprise-wide IT architecture that will meet current and future needs in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. The selected candidate will be involved in formulating solution architecture concepts, defining architecture approaches, proof of concept, prototype and providing architecture design and leading the architecture implementation.

The position will require extensive architecture and technology experience with Service Oriented Architecture(SOA), Enterprise Application Integration(EAI), API Management, Health information exchange standards and integration.

Required Skills:

This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and more than 15 years professional software development and application architecture experience, including 6 years’ enterprise integration architecture experience with API Management, EAI, BPM, CRM, Microservcies, Java/JEE. Specific requirements include, but not limited to:

Must to have:
 Strong white-boarding and Solutions Architecture experience
 Proven strong technical architecture design background
 Demonstrated experience in monitoring, analyzing and recommending solutions to
 performance problems in high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems and integration architectures
 Demonstrated leadership leading teams in end-to-end solutions
 Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations for all levels of management, combined with tight-knit collaboration and influencing abilities a must.
 Deep knowledge, solid understanding and hands-on technical experience in API management, Microservcies, big data, and analytics.
 Must have knowledge of Java and streaming tools, good understanding of open source technologies like Spring, Hibernate/iBatis, and Kafka etc.
 Strong experience architecting applications using mid-range technologies like Java/JEE
 Strong experience in designing SOA and BPM based applications
 Good understanding of architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman etc.
 Over 6+ years technology integration experience with Microservices, API Management, MQ, RDBMS, and big data platform.

A big plus to have:
 Healthcare Payer industry knowledge and experience in care coordination, health information exchange.
 Ability to work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
 Self-started and motivated
 Enterprise Architecture certification(TOGAF or Zachman)
