Embedded Software Engineer CONTRACT

£40-£42 per hour

Prospero Engineering are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for a initial 3 month contract with potential to extend

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the development of embedded firmware for high level lighting technology

• You will work as part of a small, enthusiastic design team, with support from experienced electronic, mechanical and optical engineers.

• You will have direct involvement in the project at every level from customers and suppliers. Occasional travel abroad is expected as part of the role.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in Green Hills and PowerPC (ST Micro SPC560)

• Experience of low level source code written in C/C++,MISRA C.

• Experience of low-level source code for automotive CAN.

• Experience in use of Vector libraries

• Preferably familiar with the requirements and implementation of ASPICE and functional safety (ISO26262).

• Good team working, communications and problem-solving skills.

• Good PC skills including Microsoft Office
