EDW Developer, Mid and Senior Level

NiyamIT is seeking a Mid-Level and Senior-Level EDW Developer to join our team in Reston in support of our work with the Department of Homeland Security. The EDW Developer will be responsible for converting business requirements into technical design and develop EDW solutions. He/she will be required to design star schemas (dimensional schemas), map transactional databases to star schema designs and develop ETL code via PL/SQL or ETL tool. The developer should have understanding of Business intelligence reporting and should be able to interact easily with Business Intelligence Developers.

Qualified candidates must be able to supply proof of US Citizenship. Candidates with an Active Public Trust Security Clearance will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design star schemas (dimensional schemas) and map transactional databases to star schema designs
• Develop ETL code in PL/SQL and SAP Data Services
• Perform dimensional data warehouse analysis, design and development
• Testing
• Perform DBA activities

Must Have:

• 4-12 years experience with ETL Development (PL/SQL)
• 4-12 years experience with BI and ETL tools (SAP Data Services, Business Objects)
• 4-12 years experience with Databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
• 2-4 years experience with Testing
• Team Player with excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
• Eligibility for Public Trust Clearance
• Must be able to supply proof of US Citizenship

Nice to Have:

• 2-4 years experience with Rational Tools
• 2-4 years experience with DBA, Golden Gate
