Your new company
My client, a large public-sector organisation are looking to recruit a Web Developer on a 6 month contract, initially. Role will be based in either Leicester or Birmingham
Your new role
- To support the development and delivery of the organisations cloud services i.e. Azure technical environment and commensurate digital services to all organisations stakeholders.
- To act as Cloud web technology specialist, providing expert advice on all aspects of cloud platforms
- To develop and manage using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.
- To provide overall management of web resources ensuring high quality and adherence to associated standards and compliance
What you'll need to succeed
- Effective influencing, communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Able to plan and prioritise own work and work of team members
- Experience of Linux and Windows administration in response to service needs for example open source technologies, IIS
- In depth knowledge and understanding of firewalls, network/ web security
- Extensive experience of managing SQL or MYSQL database administration
- Clear understanding of Cloud technologies i.e. Azure
- Experience of CMS packages including Drupal and DNN preferred
- Experience if working in partnership with a variety NHS Organisations, stakeholders and External IT suppliers
- Experience and knowledge of Cloud technology pricing tiers and management of resources within Azure environment ensuring value for money and ROI
- Experience of relating complex information to a variety of stakeholders and External suppliers
What you'll get in return
The client is offering a day rate of £200 - £250 Per Day dependant on experience
