Job Description

Responsible for document composition development using Quadient/Inspire (former GMC) platform. Review existing workflow and templates setup by other programmers and collaborate with other developers on composition convergence project. Responsible for designing and testing program logic, program documentation and release for computer operations. Works with Project Managers and Customer Service teams to set up new customers for standard and/or customized processing. Must be able to think quickly and resolve issues as they arise.

Hours

This is a Full-time contract position requiring approximately 40+ hours per week with occasional weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain applications for complex projects utilizing Quadient Inspire(former GMC)
  • Program, test and troubleshoot workflows
  • Set up reusable logic libraries, updating as appropriate
  • Set up master workflows to support Document Template design using Inspire Interactive
  • Assist with data file analysis and help PM in customer’s onboarding process
  • Familiarity with at least one of the languages: Java, C#, Power Shell
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures and functions
  • Define Omni Channel outputs
  • Responsible for projects live deployment and production acceptance
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing process and ways to standardize data processing
  • Assist in resolving inquiries related to input/output and intended data usage
  • Participate in team efforts to convert setups from existing OpenText/Doc1 platforms to Quadient Inspire
  • Follows established department and companywide guide lines for implementation, testing and deployment
  • Contribute to the upkeep and consistency of internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training
  • Other duties may be assigned after successful integration
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Print and mailing industry experience preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience using Quadient Inspire (former GMC)
  • Development experience with multiple document composition tools such as OpenText(Exstream) and or Doc1 composition is a bonus
  • Working knowledge of Windows PowerShell
  • Strong attention to detail and QC principles
  • Understanding of Data Integrity, Security
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming Java or C#
    Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience using a wide range of data structures including xml
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
    Minimum of three years of experience in related field
