Being a Digital Designer at Shockoe

Shockoe is looking for an experienced digital designer to help with all aspects of digital and print design. This individual will be accountable for helping create the digital look across multiple platforms, including email, web, social, print, etc.

This opportunity is specifically posted for the tech-savvy designer who enjoys creating content and is interested in designing for conversion. You will drive leads to Shockoe and help further position Shockoe in the marketplace. Life working at Shockoe:

• Throughout the day, you will collaborate with your teammates and interact with our clients – all while being based out of our Richmond, VA office

Responsibilities

• Produce the design and production for websites, print graphics, web logos and images, social media graphics and banners, email campaigns, and email templates.
• Create a visual language for the mediums mentioned above based on research, Shockoe’s brand guidelines, and offline/online Marketing strategies.
• Work with Marketing Team to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
• Manage and produce digital design work
• Translate wireframes into simple, user Interfaces, with specific calls-to-action.
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital all customer touchpoints.
• Provide design support to other business lines and functions

About You

• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• 2+ years marketing automation experience a plus, with CRM experience, and familiarity with workflow processes and systems within the marketing/sales cycle.
• Strong portfolio of design work, showing a solution to business problems through effective design.
• Able to present concepts and lead internal teams to the correct solution.
• Experience in web marketing/web design with a strong knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Figma, web design, and development principles
• Deep knowledge with Web design processes
• Fast learner that proactively tackles challenges.
• High impact team player. Candidate must place a strong emphasis on team communication and collaboration to succeed in the role.

This position is located at our Richmond, VA office. We are not able to offer remote work at this time.
