DevOps Project Manager Overview:
Develop, execute, and manage Business Technology Solutions Team (BTS) initiatives for Market access functions which include Trade & Distribution, Forecasting, Contracting, Pricing, Analytics and others to support organization’s strategic vision. Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivated, the ability to work independently as well as lead project teams, have proven project/program management skills, and very strong inter-team communication skills will be critical to success in this role
Job Responsibilities:
Project planning, managing execution, and tracking project deliverablesIdentify needs and opportunities, document business needs and break them down into data and business process needsDocument business process using Visio and other modelling toolsManage Cross functional teams to identify and resolve gaps and opportunitiesPlan, facilitate, and track meetings with executives and project teamsAnalyzes business processes; elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility and makes recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing technology componentsResponsible for delivering Market Access 360 Build initiatives and ensure Demand backlog initiatives are ready for Build queue in a timely manner.Project monitoring and Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division and cross divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Resource and Team Management: Lead DevOps team, prioritize demands from Market Access and Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Supervises, motivates and mentor cross-functional /cross divisional project team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and validation analystsDevelops business relationships and integrates activities with other functions to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Lead Integrated program meetings with BTS leads from all the workstreams and resolve any conflicts in a timely mannerConduct project prioritization meetings between BTS and Delivery vendors and maintain a business-driven project pipelineIdentifies the business benefits of alternative strategies. Ensures compliance between business strategies and technology directions. Assess the degree to which changes in the scope, issues and risks will affect projects. Work with Integrated BTS team and Business to gain alignment for resolutionMeasure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and proceduresCommunicate program progress by working with project managers, produce project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and overall health of the program Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels in BTS and with external partners. Acts as a liaison and business process expert to assure successful implementation.Qualifications:
