Job Title: DevOps Engineer Job Type: 6 month contract to hire Job Location: Liberty, MO (must be onsite. Working remotely is not an option
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering teams on more efficient ways to automate configuration and operate infrastructure.
Responsible for improvements to build and release scripts, tools, and processes
Support the continuous integration process
Responsible for the deployment process
Participate in the ground-up design and planning for all future products and services
Collaborate with peers on work estimation/planning and implementation of new versions/features of tools
Improve and lead our build and deployment process
Research and recommend technology frameworks for source management, software build, infrastructure management, and continuous integration
Integrate test automation framework in collaboration with software engineers
Provide leadership and practical knowledge for virtual computing environments like Microsoft Azure
Requirements:
Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and/or work related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in Computer Science preferred
4+ years of experience and knowledge of DevOps/Server Infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work toward task completion
Strong problem solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
