DevOps Engineer 12 months contract Southampton, Hampshire (there is some flexibility on remote working but realistically it is a maximum 50% onsite 50% remote) A well-established healthcare Institution is refining their approach to the technology and supporting their community, customers and partners - so are expanding their operations and are urgently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer; to help them get to the next phase of their transformation plans.
Familiarity with container orchestration services, Familiarity with agile software development in C++, Java, JavaScript
Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools
Significant experience with Windows operating system environments
Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python
Experience of build and maintaining web servers
Familiarity of version control systems
Experience in a software development team building modern web applications
Experience with Bootstrap or similar CSS/JS framework
Experience working with service oriented architecture (SOA)
Experience with API design and development
Proficient understanding of database (MSSQL), including T-SQL, stored procedures, etc.
Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
Experience in dealing with healthcare or sensitive data
Experience in writing strategy documents and implementing them.
Experience of managing and supporting large complex integration solutions and app developments.
Experience of Scrum framework and Agile processes
Writing unit tests with moq or similar testing framework
